Deepika Padukone, wife of (in her own words), Ranveer Singh Padukone is the happiest gal these days. The Padmaavat actress who tied the last month is certainly making marriage look good and innumerable ways we didn't think it was possible including walking hand-in-hand with hubby at airports. Of course, half the due goes to half the hand of the Simmba actor who flew his lady love for a quick honeymoon over the weekend. In fact, it was extra special because DP also turned 33 on January 5 and it was her first birthday since her wedding. Of course, birthday wishes were pouring in for the diva including from all corners including celebs like Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
And while the beautiful actress hasn't had the time to reply to all her messages, she has returned Alia's sweet gesture with an even cute reply. The Gully Boy actress who is playing a pivotal part alongside Ranveer had put up an Insta story wishing, "Happy birthday beautiful," with emojis, cakes and sprinkles and what not. And now, DP has reposted the story and replied saying, "Thank you my love" with a heart emoji of course. Check it out here.
Cute, no? On the work front, Deepika will start work on her next project titled Chhapaak alongside Vikrant Massey. The movie is based on an acid victim and it is directed by Meghna Gulzar. And Alia has Gully Boy, Takht, Brahmastra in her kitty.
