Simmba is not only doing wonders for Ranveer Singh but for Rohit Shetty as well. He now has eight Rs 100 crore films and three Rs 200 crore films in his kitty which is the highest if we talk about directors. Rajkumar Hirani is the only other director to have made three Rs 200 crore films. But Simmba has managed to earn much more than Rohit's past releases in this category - namely Chennai Express and Golmaal Again. While Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's film managed the feat in 15 days and the ghost comedy in 24 days, Ranveer's film did that in just 12 days! Simmba has thus become bigger than even the biggies.

Simmba's success proves that Ranveer Singh truly is the future of Bollywood. His movies have managed to do things at the box office which were till recently associated just with the three Khans. Getting Rs 200 crore and Rs 300 crore films so early in his career surely is a huge high and Bollywood is certainly in the right hands right now.
