After scoring a fantastic first day which was higher than what Trade predicted, Simmba has only soared higher. Now, it has managed to make Rs 202.83 crore in just 12 days. That's an incredible feat. Now, everyone is busy figuring out what it is it that helped this cop drama become such a wondrous experience at the theatres and the box office. We have managed to list down a few things that helped the film post such incredible numbers. In fact, during this process, we realised that Rohit just stuck to the basics and managed to create a huge stir at the box office. It's been a while since movies catered to the gallery and Simmba came at a time when people were missing such a film. These are movies that are specially made to win over the single screen theatres, which are more in number in India. Many must have thought, Rohit Shetty shouldn't have moved the release date of Simmba to December 28. Well, we feel, it was a golden move. By doing so, the film managed to get more than 4000 screens which wouldn't have been a reality had it released with Zero. The long New Year holidays and no release in the first week of January worked tremendously in its favour. But that wouldn't have been possible if the film didn't have merit.
