Gully Boy trailer: Ranveer Singh has a special rap for Deepika Padukone and we’re dying to hear it

Ranveer Singh is unstoppable! The actor, who is still enjoying the success of Simmba at the box office, has already rolled out his next movie s trailer Gully Boy. The actor sheds his Khilji and Simmba persona to mellow down as Divine the rapper, based on whom the movie is made, and we were left stunned. The actor raps his way into our hearts and we re dying to watch the movie now. But we got wondering how Deepika Padukone would have reacted to the trailer. While we were sure that she was proud of his upcoming movie through her comments on the poster, Ranveer confirmed that the actress is indeed proud of the movie.

She hasn t seen the trailer yet, but she watched the teaser. She loved it and she s very proud of me, Ranveer said, speaking of Deepika. The actor went on to reveal that he has a special rap penned down for his wife and he will put up a solo performance for her. Damn, Ranveer, we wish we were invited as well.

While we re praying to God that Ranveer gives us a little demo of his rap for Deepika (God, please make it happen), we have got a glimpse of Ranveer as the Gully Boy and it has left us thinking if there is any role that this man cannot do? The actor has proved himself time and again. The trailer also took us on a trip down the memory lane and we couldn t help but look back at Bittu Sharma, from Band Baaja Baaraat, and look at how far Ranveer has come now.

Alia has impressed as well. The actress plays Ranveer s love interest in the movie and her badass attitude has won us over. Gully Boy releases on February 14.
