Well, Ankita Lokhande s first post of 2019 was all about her work. This year stands crucial for Ankita as she makes her Bollywood debut with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress plays supporting cast in the Kangana Ranaut led movie. We already saw a glimpse of the TV star turning Bollywood actress in the trailer that was released a few days ago.
Now, Ankita gave her fans a closer look at her character from the movie to mark her first post of the year on the social media platform. The actress shared what seems like an old photograph from the time she was filming for the upcoming January release. Ankita is dressed as her character, Jhalkaribai, looking absolutely mesmersing. We couldn t help but gaze at her for a couple of minutes.

Manikarnika is set to release on January 25. The movie is based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai, the Queen of Jhansi, who fought against the Britishers in 1857. Kangana is playing the titular role in the movie which is directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, with some portions directed by Kangana as well.
