Sushant Singh Rajput has a lot of movies in his kitty. In fact, he has five of them. But out of them, a lot were in limbo. Say for example Chandamama Door Ke and Drive. However, things have changed. Drive is actually releasing and Karan Johar announced the date as well. Brace yourself for June 28 as that's when Drive will hit the theatres. This is Tarun Mansukhani's second film after Dostana. Yes, it took him 11 years to come up with another film and we hope it's good.
Drive was supposed to be a 2018 release with the date being September 7. But it kept getting pushed for unknown reasons. The film had wrapped up in January. It is the first film in the series which will be produced by Karan Johar and Fox Star Studios. There were reports that it is a remake of a Hollywood hit by the same name, that starred Ryan Gosling. But Sushant Singh Rajput had squashed the rumours. He told DNA, " It s not a remake at all. Trust me, if it was a remake of the Hollywood movie, they wouldn t want me because then, they would have rather cast a better-looking actor. There would be Ryan Gosling, not me! (Laughs)."
