Twitter India has unveiled quite a few lists today and one among them is the Top hashtags in India. While we have had quite a few ones like the #MeToo, it s the South Indian film troupe that topped the chart once again. And what s surprising to see is that the list is filled with South Indian entertainment related tags. Thalapathy Vijay s Sarkar tops the list at the first position followed by Ajith-starrer Viswasam at the second position. At the third position is Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu s Bharat Ane Nenu followed by Jr NTR s Aravindha Sametha. The fifth position is bagged by Ram Charan-Samantha Akkineni s Rangasthalam which was one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema this year. Check out the complete list here:

Next up in the list is also the second season of Bigg Boss Telugu which was one of the most spoken about in South Indian entertainment this year, courtesy winner Kaushal Manda. The title winner managed to garner mammoth fan following till the finale of the reality show, making him one of the biggest celebrities on Telugu television. Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala too grabs a position in the top 10 while IPL team Chennai Super King s tagline #WhistlePodu too sneaked in to the list. The much spoken about #MeToo movement stood at eight position on the list of Top Ten Hashtags on Twitter in India which might not go down well with a certain section of the social networking world.
