BARC Report Week 48, 2018: Taarak Mehta's cast and Zeenat Aman propel Indian Idol to the third spot; Naagin 3 stays on the top spot

It is Thursday and the time when you get a reality check of how well your favourite shows are faring. Well, talking about the top ten there are very few surprises except Indian Idol. It jumped from the tenth spot to the third spot due to the presence of the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on the show. Veteran Bollywood diva Zeenat Aman was also present on that weekend. Though Naagin 3's viewership saw a dip, it still stuck to its top spot on the BARC charts. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai stayed on the sixth place. The Grand Finale of Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 that featured Kapil Sharma also made it in the top ten. Here is a detailed look...

Top 10 shows (Urban)

With its twists and turns, Naagin 3 retained its top spot with a viewership of 8.1 million impressions. Kundali Bhagya was on the second place with 8 million impressions viewership. Now, comes the surprise! The cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was on Sony TV's Indian Idol as well as Zeenat Aman. It propelled the viewership to 7.6 mn impressions from 5.3 million impressions viewership. It was followed by Kumkum Bhagya. Star Plus' Kulfi Kumar Bajewala has kept viewers engrossed with the emotional sequences between the father and daughter. It got 7.2 million impressions viewership. It was followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. On the seventh place, it was Sony Entertainment Television's Kaun Banega Crorepati which had its Grand Finale this week. It got 6.3 million impressions viewership. Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, RadhaKrish and Zee TV's Guddan Tumse Naa Ho Payega completed the list.

Top 10 shows (Urban + Rural)

Zee Anmol's Kumkum Bhagya got a viewership of 14.8 million impressions all over the country. It was followed by Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya with 12.6 million impressions viewership. Shabbir Ahluwalia - Sriti Jha's Kumkum Bhagya was on the third place with 12.3 million impressions viewership. Colors' Naagin 3 (12.32) was on the fourth place followed by Star Bharat's Radha-Krishn (11.2). Indian Idol was one of the most loved shows as the cast of Taarak Mehta regaled the audience. It got a viewership of 10.7 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol's Mahek. Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Guddan Tumse Naa Ho Payega and Tujhse Hai Raabta finished off the list.
