Kapil Sharma is all set to start a new inning on TV with the fresh season of The Kapil Sharma Show. The shoot started last night in Film City with Salman Khan being the first guest. The superstar was accompanied by brothers Arbaaz and Sohail along with dad, Salim Khan. This is the first time that Salim Khan is coming on Kapil Sharma's show or on any reality show for that matter. Well, Sumona Chakravarti shared a picture of the puja that happened on the sets before the shoot commenced. Everyone prayed to Lord Balaji for a successful season this time around.

The on-air date of the new season is expected to be around December 23-25. Sources tell us that it will be finalised in the next few days. This time, we have Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh as the new characters on the show along with the regular team of Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda. Rochelle Maria Rao will also be seen as Lottery on the show. The star comedian has been juggling between the show and his marriage that will take place on December 12.
