Anil Kapoor recently visited the sets of Star Plus' show, Dance Plus, for a special episode. The jhakaas actor was accompanied by Jeetendra who has worked with Sridevi in Ghar Sansar and as a tribute to the late actress, contestants of the show recreated legendary actress Sridevi s hit tracks and left everyone emotional. Taking a trip down the memory lane, Anil shared that he would always touch Sridevi's feet whenever he met her. He revealed that the actress would feel awkward and tell him not to do so
Remembering her, he said that as an artist he feels blessed to have worked with her. "Srideviji had a huge contribution to my career. She was an actor with immeasurable talent who could fill the screen with her magic. We shouldn t remember her with sadness and rather celebrate her brilliance as a performer with love, affection and joy," he added. Anil also mentioned that his wife, Sunita Kapoor, too misses her a lot as she was close to her. Just like the Kapoors, Sridevi will remain alive in our hearts forever.
On the professional front, Anil will be seen in Karan Johar's magnum opus, Takht, which has an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar. Besides Takht, the actor has Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga lined up as well. He will be seen sharing the screen with his daughter, Sonam Kapoor, for the first time in this film.
