Director Shankar's 2.0 has turned out to be a game-changer for Akshay Kumar at the box office. The sci-fi venture currently stands with the grand total of Rs 132 crore and by today it will surpass the lifetime business of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha to become Akshay's highest grosser of all-time. In fact, it will be Khiladi's first film to cross the Rs 150 crore mark at the ticket and if it holds well, it might enter the Rs 200 crore club as well.

Karan Johar has presented the Hindi version of 2.0 under his banner Dharma Productions. Apparently, it is the first Indian film, which is entirely shot in 3D. Produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, the film stars Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles. With 10500 screens globally, it is widest Indian release ever.
