Top Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has hurt herself while shooting for her upcoming film Jack and Jill which is being directed by Santosh Sivan. Emerging reports reveal that Manju was performing a stunt and got hurt in the process. The actress was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where she was given first aid. It was reportedly a minor injury and the actress got back to shooting post treatment. Director and cinematographer of Jack and Jill, Santosh Sivan, took to his Twitter account to post a picture with Manju announcing that the shoot would be wrapped up soon. However, news has it that filming may get extended due to Manju s injury since she would need time to recuperate. The shooting of Jack and Jill was in progress in Haripad, Kerala when the unfortunate accident took place.

Besides Jack and Jill, Manju will also be seen playing a key role in Odiyan which features Malayalam top star Mohanlal. Directed by VA Shrikumar Menon, Odiyan is a period drama featuring Mohanlal as the menacing gangster Manickan who was the last surviving man of the Odiyan tribe. Besides that, Manju will also be seen in Lucifer which features Mohanlal again and is directed by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Lucifer will mark the debut of Prithviraj as director in Malayalam cinema.
Manju Warrier was last seen in the film titled Mohanlal and was seen playing a die-hard fan of the Malayalam star. Manju's portrayal in the film received a lot of appreciation from all corners including critics.
