Days after Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's royal wedding at the Umaid Bhawan Palace took place, new scoops are emerging from their marriage. A report suggested that Parineeti Chopra, who had earlier revealed that she would take $5 million from Nick Jonas, demanded Rs 5 lakh from her jiju as part of the joota chupai ceremony. Turns out, both the amounts mentioned were wrong. Giving clarity on the amount she was paid by Nick for returning his shoes, Parineeti took to her Twitter handle to reveal, "To all those speculating the joota hiding money - you know nothing!! All I can say is - you re wrong!!!!! Haha. Nick was MORE THAN CRAZY HUGELY MADLY GENEROUS! No words. Still reeling. Phew. He shocked us. Whatta playa!!! @nickjonas."

This definitely means that Parineeti was paid more than Rs 5 lakh for returning her jiju's shoes. And probably, that is the reason why she is still reeling from Nick's generosity. Earlier, in an interview, mentioning the shoe-hiding fee, Pari had said, "I was sitting with Nick only two nights ago and I was telling him that we needed to lock in our final amount. I quoted 5 million USD (approximately Rs 37 crore)." To which Nick had told Chopra, "OK, I'll give you USD 10."
Now we are curious to know the exact amount that Pari finally earned. Let s hope the actress reveals that too soon.
