We saw how TV actors like Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Karan Patel and Hina Khan promoted Ekta Kapoor's upcoming web-series, Apharan. The trailer is out today and it features Arunoday Singh in the main role. The trailer has a good mix of black humour, action and suspense to keep you hooked. Kudos to the casting director as everyone look hand-picked for their respective roles. Arunoday who has a very imposing presence conveys all the emotions ranging from desperation to love with earnestness. We cannot finish writing about the trailer without mentioning the actor who plays the security guard who screams Zoom Karo, Zoom Karo. He is a real hoot.
The talented Mahie Gill is also a part of the cast. She plays the seductive brainchild behind the whole kidnapping. Honestly, we have seen her as the cunning seductress before in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series and feel a sense of deja vu. Arunoday Singh was seen before on Love Per Square Foot and in the film, Blackmail. Nidhi Singh and Varun Badola are also there in Apharan. The web-series is directed by Siddharth Sengupta.
