Fans of old TV show Pavitra Rishta were in for a treat yesterday. If you have been off the drift, it all happened when Sushant Singh Rajput put his differences aside and congratulated ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande on her look Kangana Ranaut's from Manikarnika. The actress is playing the part of Jhalkari Bai in the period saga and is all set to mark her debut in the world of cinema. And which is why Sushant took to Instagram and commended her for the same on a post featuring her first look. The Dhoni actor wrote, "It looks absolutely great Ankita. I m extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness."
Needless to say, it raked eyeballs from all the corners and especially euphoria from followers who still secretly worship them and love them as a couple. If you're not in the know, the duo dated for six years before they called it quits and that broke a lot of hearts, including ours. However, that wasn't the end of it. Now, Ankita has also replied to Sushant s message in a way that re-affirms our faith in friendship after break up. She replied, "Thank you Sushant and I wish you the same."
So, now you know! While there have been many reasons attributed to the breakup, Sushant had earlier told Anupama Chopra, "It is very important to give time to a relationship. It can sustain if there are no expectations. When you are in love you care about your partner and wish for good memories with him or her. Therefore, time is like an investment in any relationship. We run after a psychological security which will never last long. Most of the actors only want to speak about themselves and have become self-obsessed. They want to be heard only. Today, people no longer have listening power." Well, this just goes to prove that there's no bad blood between the two.
