With all the shaadis taken care of, the Kalank team has gone back to business. Alia Bhatt has been juggling Brahmastra and Kalank simultaneously. Varun Dhawan has been working out relentlessly for days for his role in the Abhishek Varman directorial. He even got hurt on the sets. Aditya Kapur too was injured. Recently, Sonakshi Sinha joined the cast and they shot for a glittering shiny song. Yesterday, Varun and Alia even attended the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2018. Well, after wrapping up all that, the three of them left for Hyderabad to shoot for the next schedule of Kalank. Check out their pictures here... Karan Johar wanted to make Kalank 15 years back. The filmmaker had once revealed on his Twitter post, KALANK has been an emotional journey for me! A germ of an idea that I had nearly 15 years ago, a film that was in a pre-production stage helmed by my father., am now proud to pass it onto the extremely capable and visionary hands of our director Abhishek Varman! A beautifully structured story by Shibani Bathija and an exceptionally fluid narrative and screenplay by Abhishek. Speaking about the film, Varun told a publication, "Working with Dharma is like coming back home. Kalank is very special to me because it s my fourth collaboration with Alia Bhatt. Hopefully, we will re-create our on-screen magic once again. As far as Karan is concerned, it s always a pleasure to work with him.
