Shankar directorial 2.0 starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is all set to hit screens on November 29, 2018 worldwide. 2.0 will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi across the globe and is expected to be an extravagant affair. Fans of superstar Rajinikanth are already quite kicked about the film and predictions about the collections of the film are over the top. 2.0 is made on a towering budget of Rs 600 crore and the film is expected to rake in more than Rs 100 crore right on the first day of release. Trade experts predict that 2.0 will smash the records set by other biggies like Mersal and Baahubali in Tamil cinema. Baahubali was the first film in Tamil cinema to clock more than Rs 100 crore right on the first day of release. Mersal, starring Thalapathy Vijay, took just 2 days to clock more than Rs 100 crore worldwide and became the second film to do so after Baahubali in Tamil. With 2.0 in the picture, records are expected to tumble all over according to trade experts.

Directed by ace filmmaker, Shankar Shanmugham, 2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 release, Enthiran. 2.0 will be a reloaded version of Chitti The Robo and will be an upgraded version. Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the antagonist in 2.0 portraying the character of Dr.Richard. The film is loaded with heavy VFX and we saw a glimpse of that in the trailer of the film that released a while ago.
