Kader Khan played several roles in Bollywood for decades. We ve seen him pen down brilliant scripts like Coolie, write the dialogues of several hit movies and play the villain too in many movies. But the millennials know him as the master of comedy. The actor was seen playing the comic supporting actor in several David Dhawan movies. The actor had a mind-blowing chemistry with Govinda. So, we could only imagine what a shock it must have been for Govinda when he learnt that his No. 1 series co-star was no more.
The actor took to Twitter to share a picture from Dulhe Raja. Govinda wrote, He was not just my "ustaad" but a father figure to me, his midas touch and his aura made every actor he worked with a superstar. The entire film industry and my family deeply mourns this loss and we cannot express the sorrow in words.

He wasn t the only one who remembered the legendary actor. Kader s Judwaa co-star Karisma Kapoor also remembered the actor. He had played Karisma s father in the movie. Following the news of his demise, she took to Instagram to remember her on-screen father. She shared a picture of a scene from the movie and wrote: RIP #KadarKhan will always remember you fondly with utmost respect #memoriesofalifetime.

Khan died following a prolonged illness at the age of 81 on December 31. His son Sarfaraz earlier told PTI, "My dad has left us. He passed away on December 31 at 6 pm as per Canadian time due to prolonged illness. He slipped into coma in the afternoon. He was in the hospital for 16-17 weeks. The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it."
