Rohit Shetty had revealed in an interview not too long ago that he is interested in making a cop universe. He already has Singham and Simmba with the recent addition of Veer Suryavanshi. Now we have a suggestion for him. How about a female cop as well? Even MCU and DCEU have standalone films on female superheros like Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Black Widow and the likes. This will be a great move to make it a gender-neutral cop universe as well. We can even suggest you a name and show you an audition tape as well. We are talking about Deepika Padukone. She had played a cop in one of the ads for the travel ticketing website that she endorses. Mr Shetty, that will give you a perfect idea of what Deepika is capable of. Even her quirks and moves look similar to Simmba. Take a look...
Can we also suggest a plotline here? You can possibly have Deepika play a cop who may not be unscrupulous but has her intentions right in place. Deepika has shown good comic timing in films like Chennai Express and Housefull. Plus, Mr Shetty, you have already worked with her. In fact, we have an even better idea. Once you do realise the potential in introducing a female cop in your Cop universe, you can easily do a lot of crossovers - something that you did by bringing in Singham and Suryavanshi in Simmba. Now what you have to possibly look for is a name for Deepika that starts with S. Isn't it also your S-Universe?
