Kapil Sharma
The star comedian has started 2019 on a resounding note as the second season of The Kapil Sharma Show has got a great response from people. The show opened to a TRP of 3.4 beating the Bigg Boss 12 grand finale. This makes it evident that people still love Kapil Sharma and his brand of humour. Ranveer Singh - Sara Ali Khan - Rohit Shetty were the first guests on the show. Everyone loved how everyone made fun of Kapil Sharma for losing out Deepika Padukone to Ranveer Singh. It is indeed a celebratory moment for the whole team. Even before the first TRPs were out, some wrote how Kapil Sharma had slashed his fee for this season from Rs 60 lakh per episode to Rs 20 lakh per episode.
Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul
Honestly, there was not much hype around the episode featuring Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on Koffee with Karan 6 but Pandya ensured it was the most talked episode after the one featuring Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan. Hardik made some statements about women that made social media cringe. Right from talking about how he discussed losing his virginity with his parents to saying that he likes to check out how women move before asking their names, Twitter deemed his statements as sexist and misogynistic. BCCI has also come down hard on the player with talks of a ban going on.
Ishqbaaaz
Barely three weeks into the show, talks surfaced that the makers were looking to replace actress Manjiri Pupala who plays the part of Additi Deshmukh. However, the makers denied it saying that she was very much a part of the show. Sources say her character will eventually turn negative and a new actress will be brought to replace Nakuul Mehta aka Shivaansh Singh Oberoi on the show.
Mohsin Khan
Mohsin Khan has amassed a huge fan following in this short time. The actor's sister Zeba got married to a Kolkata-based doctor Taha and the pictures of the ceremony went viral. People could not have enough of Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin at the party.
Erica Fernandes - Parth Samthaan
Reports surfaced that everything was not hunky dory between Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan on the sets of their show. However, it in an Insta chat, the two talked happily about each other. It seems Erica has a nickname for Parth, which is Partho.
