Simmba is doing incredibly good at the box office. It's only day 2 and yet the film has posted a monumental number of Rs 44.05 crore. Sunday will be even better and thus, we are looking at a Rs 70 crore opening weekend which is simply fab! When we had spoken to our Trade expert Amul Vikas Mohan, Editor Super Cinema, he did mention how the film has the potential to go bigger and bigger every day over the first weekend. He had said, "Right now, it looks rosy, so Rs 18 crore today, maybe Rs 20-22 crore tomorrow and Rs 25 crore on Sunday. Probably another Rs 30 crore on Monday, then we are looking at big numbers. But that's a very best-case scenario. The numbers can also change by the end of the day, it could be slightly higher or say marginally low. But that range is good, that range is what Ranveer works at." Well, the best case scenario has truly happened.

Things will only get better in the coming days for the film what with December 31 being a partial holiday and January 1 is a holiday.
