In the early hours on Sunday, reports surfaced on the internet that veteran writer-actor Kader Khan passed. The news went viral that Kader Khan breathed his last in the hospital after being on the ventilator for more than three days and condolence messages were being posted on social media. However, a few hours later it turns out that the news is untrue. Kader Khan's son, Sarfaraz, clarifies that his father is being treated and is in the hospital at the present moment. Sarfaraz told PTI that all the reports are untrue and Kader Khan is still undergoing treatment. "It is all a lie. It is just a rumour. My father is in the hospital," Sarfaraz told PTI. Fans of the veteran writer had scary moments after reports went viral about his passing away. But this clarificati0on by son Sarfaraz has brought a sigh of relief to many admirers of Kader Khan and Bollywood as well.
Kader Khan has been hospitalised in Canada and is undergoing treatment for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a disease which causes dementia and loss of balance in the body. Kader Khan has been on the BiPAP ventilator after the veteran actor complained of breathlessness few days ago. Bollywood and many fans of Kader Khan have been praying for a speedy recovery of the veteran writer who penned many hit films of Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna and many other stars. However, these rumours of him passing away brought few scary moments but later a clarification from son Sarfaraz brought relief as well.
