Baahubali star Anushka Shetty was last seen in Bhaagamathie which was a horror-thriller and was a super hit flick at the box office. Directed by G.Ashok, Bhaagamathie was one of the biggest hits of 2018 released in the first half. Now, it is being speculated that Anushka Shetty will be again seen in a thriller which will be bankrolled by popular writer-producer Kona Venkat. Rumoured to be titled Silence, the film will have Anushka Shetty in the lead role with a slew of other top actors. And according to latest reports, Anushka Shetty will be seen playing a specially-abled person. Emerging reports reveal that Anushka Shetty will be seen playing a blind person in Silence. Anushka Shetty hasn't played such a role in her successful career so far and will be first attempt at such an experimental role. Reports also reveal that the makers will reveal more details about the film soon.
Earlier, it was being reported that the film will have a slew of Hollywood actors and will be seen playing key roles. Reportedly, these Hollywood actors came onboard after learning that Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty was playing the lead role. "It's a horror thriller and Anushka is playing the lead and we roped in a few Hollywood actors. It all happened because of Baahubali. When we told them that Anushka, who acted in Baahubali is playing the lead, they were all eager to work with her. They had all watched Baahubali and they know Anushka from the film, hence the eagerness to act with her," writer-producer Kona Venkat had said recently.
