#Nickyankawedding: THIS is how celebrations kicked off for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' guests as part of the four-day long affair

As we look forward to catch a glimpse or two of the celebrations that are underway at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, here's fresh information from the wedding. As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' guests are being taken care of very well. After landing in Jodhpur on Thursday, they were welcomed with garlands and a performance by local Rajasthani artistes. After lunch and cocktails, the guests were gifted with goodie bags which were waiting in their rooms. The bags had a card requesting them to not carry their mobile phones to any of the events. It also had a wedding card titled 'Indian wedding for dummies' with 'your handy dandy Indian Wedding primer' written on it. This card was basically an introduction to all the ceremonies and rituals that are part of an Indian wedding. This included mehendi, sangeet, haldi, baraat, food, etc. (Also read: #SasuralPriyankaKa: Meet Joe Jonas, Priyanka Chopra s brother-in-law who thinks that Nick Jonas is PeeCee s PUPPY DOG)

The next day, that is Friday, was the mehendi day. It began with mehendi artists applying henna on the guests hands in the garden of the palace. PeeCee chose a multi-coloured outfit for this occasion and the guests danced to Hindi songs. Meanwhile, Nick got busy with rehearsing his steps with his friends on Galla Goodiyan from Priyanka's Dil Dhadakne Do which he would be performing at the sangeet in the evening. The function saw everyone dressed in black, gold and silver as per the theme of the sangeet ceremony and Priyanka performed on some of her own hit songs. The actress' Quantico co-star Yasmine Al Masri danced with her on Dostana's Desi Girl.

The report further quotes an inside source as saying, "As of now, no functions are scheduled to be held at the Mehrangarh Fort. While the Christian wedding takes place today, the Indian-style ceremony is planned for Sunday. Six stalls of clothes, shoes and jewellery, including that of Jaipur-based designer Punit Balana and designers Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla have been set up for the baraatis to choose their outfits."
