We re jumping with joy because Priyanka Chopra is officially married to Nick Jonas. The actress and the international singer said I Do at a Christian ceremony, which was reported to be officiated by Papa Jonas aka Paul Kevin Jonas. The Quantico star announced her engagement to the Jealous singer a few months ago and tied the knot today at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur. The lovebirds were joined by her family and friends. And we re sending all love to the stunning diva and her husband.
While we are yet to see pictures from what we can say undoubtedly a beautiful ceremony, a little birdie has told us that Priyanka has already received her first wedding gift and that too by her mother-in-law Mama Jonas aka Denise Jonas. Word has it that Mama Jonas showered the actress with all her love and welcome her second daughter-in-law into the family by gifting her a gorgeous set of earrings. These are no regular earrings my friend.
Mama Jonas walked into one of the most luxurious jewellery stores of the world and handpicked a gorgeous set of earrings for the new Jonas family member. We ve been told that she has picked trinkets from Van Cleef & Arpels. For the uninitiated, they are a renowned French luxury jewelry, watch, and perfume company.
The design is called as The Snowflake earrings and its made of gold with diamond stones studded in them. According to the website, it costs about $79,500 a set, which is approximately Rs. 55.46 lakhs INR. It weighs about 6.7 carats and holds 170 stones in it.
The website describes the set with the description that reads, Sparkling with light, the Snowflake High Jewelry collection is inspired by flakes of snow - an inspiration for Van Cleef & Arpels since the 1940s. Round diamonds combine to form dazzling winter motifs.
