Today's episode of Bigg Boss 12 begins with the contestants dancing to the tunes of 'Nayak Nahi, Khalnayak hu main'. They discuss as to which the which contestants should go to Kaal Kothri. Jasleen and Deepak get into a war of words as he says he will take her name for Kaal Kothri. In the kitchen area, Surbhi provokes Sreesanth by saying meanest things about him. Sree, on the other hand, remains silent. Surbhi calls Romil, bhagoda. She gets personal with Sreesanth whereas Dipika takes a stand for him. She keeps instigating him and says he is a bhagoda. Romil and Jasleen poke fun at Karanvir. Surbhi feels proud of her actions and says she will continue doing this. She calls Sreesanth, badtameez and keeps provoking him.
Karanvir says he supports Surbhi. Surbhi says she will hit Sreesanth outside the house. Bigg Boss asks contestants to nominate three contenders for going inside the jail. All of them get into a brawl again. Karanvir and Deepak defend Surbhi and accuse Sreesanth. They come to a conclusion of sending Sreesanth, Deepak and Surbhi to the jail. Their argument continues in jail as well. Bigg Boss announces another task. As a part of the task, contestants were told to retrieve keys hidden in three ice slabs placed in the garden in order to open three locked boxes. The boxes had the key to the Kaal Kothri. Jasleen was the sanchalak of this task. Romil was chosen to play for Sreesanth, Rohit for Deepak and Karanvir for Surbhi. The trio had to sit on the ice slabs with the locked boxes and convince housemates to help them break the slabs with a hammer to get the keys out. Dipika and Megha chose to help Romil, whereas Somi chose to help Karanvir. And despite requesting everyone, Rohit was left with no one to help him.
Romil wins and Sreesanth gets released from the jail. Bigg Boss gives a secret task to Megha. She is told to make contestants believe that there is an evil in the house. Rohit tells Romil that he is not playing the game well. Rohit bickers about Romil to Deepak. Deepak says he cannot trust Romil anymore. Rohit abuses Romil. He says Romil stares not only women but also men. Megha begins her secret task. Contestants are scared to see the pieces of lemons with needless at different corners of the house.
