It was a very eventful week in the world of TV. A lot of things occurred this week, which were quite unexpected and debatable, to say the least. But there was some good news too. From Hina Khan's Bollywood debut, Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath's wedding announcement to Deblina Chatterjee's return as Gayu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, this week was abuzz to say the least. Munmun Dutta
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmum Dutta aka Babita Ji, in a series of tweets, ranted against controversial reality series Bigg Boss 12. Salman Khan slammed Deepak and Megha for their actions and the way they carried themselves during the task during the Weekend Ka Vaar last week. She was extremely unhappy with all. She also went to the extent of calling it 'biased.' The actress bashed the show.
Hina Khan
The actress, who is currently playing vicious vamp Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is all set to make her Bollywood debut. A source told Bombay Times, " Hina will soon begin shooting for a film, in which she will play a responsible and independent girl. The story is set in Kashmir in the 90s. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will play her grandmother. Directed, Hussain Khan, the movie is written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh. Rahat is also the producer of the project. Hina confirmed her debut with the daily. The actress said, " It s a female-centric story. I also love the fact that it s set in a time and place, where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, daily rush and competition. I am also thrilled about challenging myself in a brand new medium.
Deblina Chatterjee
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is experiencing some heavy drama as Gayu has returned back in the lives of Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi). There was some initial buzz that Kanchi Singh will re-enter as Gayu but the actress dismissed the speculations. But Deblina Chatterjee re-entered the show as the new Gayu.
Bepannaah
Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget's much-loved show Bepannaah wrapped up shoot on November 28 and the fandom is pretty distressed about the serial going off-air. The team cut a cake and came together for a final picture. The show will end on a positive note with Arjun and Noor reuniting as well as #JenShad. The entire team also partied and made their last day memorable.
Erica Fernandes
The actress recently had a dizzy spell on the sets of her show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and fainted. A source told SpotboyE, "Erica was unwell ever since she reached the set. She wanted to finish her work and get back home soon. Erica couldn't take a day off from work because of broadcast issues. However, her health did not support the exertion and she fainted while shooting." However, Erica clarified that she felt dizzy but didn't faint.
Nia Sharma
The hot TV actress was shooting along with Aalisha Panwar for a sequence where both the girls get chased by four wild dogs. The team had got trained dogs for the sequence but it seems like Nia fell down while running. One of the dogs got on top of her and scratched her badly. The actress got hurt and began crying. The dog did not bite her as it was a trained one. The team hurriedly called a doctor on the sets who administered a tetanus injection to the actress.
Kapil Sharma
The actor is making headlines for his wedding plans with longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath. Kapil is indeed happy to embark on this new journey and sought blessings from all. He announced his wedding with Ginni on Twitter and asked for everyone's good wishes. The wedding card with golden embossing is indeed unique and is in sync with the simplicity that Kapil is known for. Also the trailer of his upcoming show The Kapil Sharma Show season 2 was out and we were bowled over by it. It reinstated our belief that 'Laughter is the best medicine.'
Arhaan Behl
After a long break, the actor is now all set to come back with a bang with a new show, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, that is about to go on air early next month. A source told Pinkvilla, The signing up of the show happened all of a sudden and it gave Arhaan no time to think much. He is in a happy space now though and is looking to start the shoot of this show real soon.
Parth Samthaan
Apart from playing Anurag in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Parth is going to be part of another Ekta Kapoor web series, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai. A source was quoted saying to India Forums, "The team has already started shooting for the new season. A part of which is being shot in Qatar with all its leads and Parth has already joined them in this Arabic country."
Apart from them, Srishty's Rode's elimination from Bigg Boss 12 also left fans of the show shocked. Also, Kanpur Waale Khuranas' promo went on air this week and made us excited for it.
