[PHOTOS] KGF star Yash celebrates his birthday with close friend actor Vishal in Chennai

The current sensation of South Indian cinema, Yash, who is hailing the Indian cinema circles with his latest release KGF, celebrates his birthday today. Fans of the rocking star of Kannada cinema have been posting wishes for the actor on social media. However, Yash decided to not celebrate his birthday in order to respect veteran actor Ambareesh who passed away recently. Yash is said to be a very close friend of Ambareesh's family and has also acted in a couple of movies with the veteran actor.

Yash took to Twitter to post a video message and requested his fans to not conduct any special events and instead pray for Ambareesh's soul to rest in peace. Yash, later in the day, was seen spending time with his close friend and actor Vishal in Chennai. Yash also had a small celebration in Chennai and was seen cutting a birthday cake along with Vishal. Photos of the actor spending time with Vishal are now going viral on social media and fans are all praise for their favourite star for keeping it a low-key affair.

Meanwhile, Yash's KGF continues to have a strong ride at the box office and it recently even crossed the Rs 200-crore mark. Released in five languages, KGF stands strong in cinema halls despite big films like Zero and Simmba releasing around the same time. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF has Yash playing a ruthless gangster who rules the mafia circles in Mumbai and later in Kollar Gold Fields.
