Another shocking news makes its way. Hrithik Roshan has just taken to social media to reveal that father and director Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with cancer. While we are still processing the information, the actor also stated that the ailing filmmaker is undergoing surgery to fight cancer cells of the throat. Having said that, Hrithik doesn't sound frantic in his post which is actually an endearing ode to his father who is fighting his battles with a wide smile on his face.
Not just that, daddy Roshan even hit the gym this morning before he would go out to fight some more. Hrithik even shared a picture of themselves after the workout, in gym wear and inspiring-inspring. He wrote, "Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldnt miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad." See the inspiring post below.
We wish the director a quick recovery. Earlier we were saddened by the similar health scares and concerns when Irrfan Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tahira Kashyap and Rishi Kapoor were diagnosed by the dreaded disease. Here's hoping that the new year brings lots of positivity to all of them.
