Ajith s Viswasam is gearing up for release during Pongal 2019 and is expected to have a grand opening in cinema halls. Directed by Siva, Viswasam will have a rural setup to it and will have Ajith playing a massy role like in his previous films like Veeram and Vedalam. Fans of Thala Ajith are quite excited about Viswasam and are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. And to add to the buzz, an update of the film has made way to the social media which has now gone absolutely viral. Editor of Viswasam, Ruben, posted a picture on his Twitter page stating the trailer of Viswasam is locked and loaded and will be unveiled soon. According to the editor, the trailer will be massy one and will be a treat for the fans. Internet is now abuzz with celebratory messages about this and fans are prepping for the special day. However, it is not official yet as to what date the trailer will be unveiled. But going by the buzz, the trailer of Viswasam will be out on the New Year s Day making it a special one for fans.

Viswasam also stars Nayanthara as the female lead actor and will be seen playing Ajith s love interest in the plot. The film is said to be set in a rural backdrop and will have Ajith sporting a traditional and massy look. Going by the posters and the songs released so far, the hype around the film is on a new high and has gotten fans excited about it. Going by speculations, the film may be released on January 10, 2019, which is the Thursday before Pongal.
According to the latest reports, the film will have a huge release despite clashing with Rajinikanth-starrer Petta which is likely to release on the same date. And that is because Viswasam is set to achieve a rare feat by becoming the first film to release in Russia and Ukraine. It is being speculated that the film will have the biggest release ever as compared to any Indian movie in these two countries.
