Simmba arrived yesterday at the theatres and has already created records. While we wait for confirmed numbers of Day 1 in India, it has already rocked Australia. By earning A$ 180,253 [Rs 88.58 lakhs] on Friday, Simmba has become Rohit Shetty's biggest opener in the country. His last best was Dilwale which had opened to A$ 143,352. Simmba is not only posting amazing numbers in India but overseas as well. But then Rohit Shetty's films have always been a big draw abroad because they have the right amount of everything that an entertaining commercial potboiler needs to have. He has never compromised on masala in his films and continues to make concoctions that are really heady. No wonder, the film is getting so much love everywhere.
