The awards season has kicked off with the Star Screen Awards 2018 that was held last night at BKC, Mumbai. Honestly, it was quite a disappointment sartorially with many celebs letting us down with their poor choices. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone went in for a dramatic gangsta look, which caught our eye. Alia Bhatt looked fresh in a light beige coloured gown while Katrina Kaif rocked a white number with sequins and feathers. Diana Penty also looked extremely elegant in a black fitted gown. Salman Khan, Radhika Madan and Vicky Kaushal also impressed us. Here is a look at the best dressed from the evening...
Alia Bhatt
Though the gown from Winnie Couture looked somewhat bridal, Alia worked it well with that ponytail and dewy makeup. The flare, which is made of tulle surely gives us the princess feels.
Katrina Kaif
The sequinned gown from Falguni and Shane Peacock would have looked OTT on many but Katrina Kaif carried it off gracefully. She looked glamorous.
Ishaan Khatter
Matching Separates are a print that even the best of fashionista fail to carry off every now and then. Ishaan Khatter looked suave and sharp in this suit, which stood out in the sea of black.
Ranveer Singh - Deepika Padukone
While we wished that Deepika Padukone skipped that diamond necklace, there was no doubt that she rocked the black Anamika Khanna outfit with that eye-catching Ninja bun. The smokey makeup was on point. Ranveer Singh also aced his gangsta look.
Salman Khan
Bhai ditched his denim and blazer look for a formal suit in midnight blue. The matching belt and pocket square complemented the outfit. Salman Khan looked spiffy and how!
Sushant Singh Rajput
The Kedarnath was the only one who wore Indian formals on the red carpet. The black pathani was finished off with tan coloured lace-up shoes and spiked hair. He looked fresh.
Vicky Kaushal
The Raazi actor sported a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie. It was a simple look but Vicky looked dapper AF.
Radhika Madan
She won the Best Debutante Award for Patakha. Radhika Madan's violet organza gown with white prints was a sight for sore eyes.
Diana Penty
Velvet and puffed shoulders can make 90 per cent people look tacky but not Diana. She carried off the outfit elegantly with her minimal makeup and accessories and looked stunning.
