South Releases this week: Antariksham, Maari 2 and KGF to have a HUGE clash at the box office

December 21^st, 2018 seems to be a big day for many films in South Indian cinema with many big stars ready to clash at the box office. Different languages and contrasting genre will be experienced with this week at the box office in Telugu and Tamil. Dhanush s Maari 2 will hit the screens on December 21^st along with Vijay Sethupathi s Seethakaathi in Tamil. These two films will have competition from Yash-starrer KGF which is being presented by Vishal. In Telugu, Varun Tej-starrer Antariksham is being released on the same and audience have huge expectations on it. Let s take a quick look at the releases this week:

Antariksham:

Touted to be the first space film in Telugu, Antariksham stars Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles. The film is directed by Sankalp Reddy who made an impressive debut with The Ghazi Attack featuring Rana Daggubati. For obvious reasons, there will be towering expectations on Antariksham.

Maari 2:

Directed by Balaji Mohan, this film is a sequel to the 2015 release with the same title. Dhanush will be seen reprising the notorious gangster again in Maari 2 and fans of the actor are quite excited about this one. Maari 2 also stars Sai Pallavi as the leading lady and the actress is seen playing a massy role, going by the trailer.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu:

Said to be a love saga, Padi Padi Leche Manasu stares Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi in lead roles and is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The trailer seems very impressive and promises to be a feel good love saga. Padi Padi Leche Manasu will also release on December 21^st, 2018.

Seethakaathi:

Of all the films lined up this week, this film has a special buzz around it because Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing an old and acclaimed actor in the plot. The trailer has send fans of the actor into a frenzy and Seethakaathi will be one of the biggest releases this week.

KGF:

This Yash-starrer has caught the attention of the whole nation after the trailer was released. KGF will release in five languages on December 21 and is said to be one of the biggest releases ever. Directed by Prashant Neel, KGF is about a dreaded gangster who takes on the gold mafia back in the '80s.
