Rowdy Baby, a peppy mashup of duet and mass featuring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi from their upcoming movie Maari 2, released on November 26 and took the internet by storm. And now the makers have released a promo of the Telugu version of the song as well. And trust us, it sounds as good as the Tamil one. Dhanush just tweeted about it and we can't help but watch it on loop. Here is the actor-lyricist-filmmaker's tweet:

Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raj's massy tinge to the Tamil duet number made it an instant hit and we are sure the Telugu track won't be any different. While the Tamil version of the song is penned as well as sung by Dhanush along with Dhee, the Telugu lyrics are written by Samrat and the song is sung by Dhanush and M M Manasi. However, as the full Telugu track is not out yet, we are not sure how the visuals are going to be. The Tamil video sees Dhanush grooving with Sai Pallavi to the steps set by celebrated actor-director-choreographer Prabhu Deva and we are hoping he has done his magic in the Telugu video as well. Meanwhile, the promo released today by the makers is a candid behind-the-scenes video of Dhanush crooning the Telugu track of the song. It even features director Balaji Mohan enjoying the fun recording.
Maari 2, whose Tamil trailer was released on December 4 and Telugu trailer was released on December 11, is slated to hit the screens on December 21 worldwide in both versions. Produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films and directed by Balaji Mohan, Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film which also stars Krishna, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar & Tovino Thomas in lead roles.
