Last year, when Rishi Kapoor announced that he is going to New York for medical treatment, speculations surrounding his health started doing rounds. It was his brother Randhir who had put the rumours to the rest clarifying that the senior actor is yet undergoing tests. Now, recently when Neetu shared a New Years Eve picture on her social media handle, the cryptic caption which read, "Happy 2019..no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred fewer poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health" hinted that Rishi is suffering from cancer.
But, when Randhir Kapoor was asked about the same by HT City, he neither denied nor confirmed his brother's diagnosis. "I don't know much about it but this much I can tell you that [Rishi] is doing well. Let people say whatever they want to. That he is doing is well is evident from the photo that I, too, have seen. He is having a good time with everyone and has stepped out to enjoy a good meal. He will soon be coming back to India. We are looking forward to that right now," he said. Here's wishing that the actor recovers soon and returns India.
On the professional front, Rishi was last seen in Mulk which featured Taapsee Pannu as well.
