Top Newsmakers of the Week: Petta teaser to Ajith's Viswasam, here's all that made it to the list

This week was quite an eventful one with trailers and teasers of various big-ticket films being released and birthdays of many top stars of South cinema. At the top of the list is, obviously, Rajinikanth after the teaser of his upcoming film Petta was released and also because it was his birthday. The past week also witnessed the release of the song from Ajith s much-waited Viswasam which sent fans into a frenzy. As a recap, here s a lookback at the top newsmakers of the week who rocked it.

Petta Teaser:

It was a double dhamaka for fans of Thalaiva! To add to the festivities of Rajinikanth s birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Petta released the teaser of the film and fans could not hold their excitement. The superstar slayed it in the teaser of Petta with his swag and style. The vintage Rajini is back!

Adhi Thooku single:

The first single from Ajith-starrer Viswasam titled Adchi Thooku is out now and the madness around the film has gone to an unmatchable level. Sung and composed by D Imman, the song has gone viral and by now must have even become the ring tones of many fans phones. Ajith rocks it in the song with his massy look which has got fans quite excited about the film now. Listen to the song here:

F2 Teaser:

Telugu cinema will witness another multi-starrer now as F2: Fun & Frustration will feature Venkatesh and Varun Tej in lead roles. The teaser of the film is out now and it promises to be nothing short of a laugh riot. Venkatesh is known for his comic timing but it is Varun Tej who steals the show with his hilarious act in the film. Watch the teaser of F2 right here:

Antariksham Trailer:

Looks like we cannot keep Varun Tej away from making the headlines. The young actor has another film lined up next week for release titled Antariksham. Touted to be the first Telugu film based on space, Antariksham stars Varun Tej as an aerospace engineer who has his own battles to succeed in a mission. While it goes unsaid that the trailer of Antariksham is impressive, it s Varun Tej s intense portrayal as an aerospace engineer that will get all your attention. Watch the trailer here:

Diganth Manchale-Aindrita Ray wedding:

Kannada actors DIganth Manchale and Aindrita Ray got married this week in Bengaluru and pictures from the wedding are going viral on social media. The couple dated for more than eight years before getting hitched this week. Diganth and Aindrita got married in Kannada and Bengali style weddings which was attended by close friends and families of the couple. Check out their photos right here:
