Rifts between celebrities are not really a rare thing. In fact, we have witnessed some ugly showdowns in the past as well. It's the same story in Telugu cinema as in every other field. While stars in Tollywood have usually displayed their bonding, there are times when two top camps lock horns over a petty issue leading to a war between their fans. And the latest incident will convince you that the impact will not fade away soon. Chiranjeevi's actor-brother Naga Babu, in a video interview, said that he doesn't know who Balakrishna is when he was asked by the interviewer in a specific context. In the video, Naga Babu said," I don t know who Balakrishna is", and this did not go down well with fans of the actor-politician. People who are aware about the camaraderie between stars in Telugu cinema were quick enough to jump to conclusions that Naga is seeking revenge for what Balakrishna did to Pawan Kalyan in a recent interview.
A little background to that story
Nandamuri Balakrishna had said that he doesn't know who Pawan Kalyan is when he was asked by a reporter. These words from the veteran came at a time when there were reports doing the rounds that Pawan Kalyan is planning to contest elections from Hindupur which is Balakrishna's constituency. At that point in time, fans of Pawan, obviously, did not like these words. And just a few days after that incident, Naga has now come up with these lines!
Now, many feel that this atmosphere of cold-war is being stretched way too much and at least one of the parties needs to put an end to it. However, as per a strong judgement and opinion among fans of both the sides, the issue may not die down any time soon and will ruffle some more feathers on the way.
