Yes, you read it right! One of the channel's prime and popular show Jiji Maa is set to bid adieu to its fans. The daily began airing on 9 October 2017 and after a healthy run of over a year, it will shut down. "The declining ratings of the series is the reason behind its sudden closure," a reliable source reveals. Within its 350 episodes, Jiji Maa was once the top show on the channel garnering the highest ratings. The dates are yet to be finalized, however, it is likely to happen by January 2019. It featured, Tanvi Dogra, Pallavi Pradhan and Dishank Arora in the primary cast.

Despite repeated attempts, Jiji Maa's producer Kinnari Mehta didn't revert to our calls.

Coming back to the new series, the promo of Ek Thi Rani, Ek Tha Ravan, will have the voice of veteran actress and singer Illa Arun. The show primarily revolves around the concept of stalking. Show's lead protagonist's tryst with stalking becomes the major plot of the story.

Recently, Star Bharat pulled the plug of its two popular shows Papa By Chance which couldnt even run for more than six months and also Saam Daam Dand Bhed.
