Simmba Vs Temper: Here are the subplots you might not see in the Ranveer Singh-starrer

The trailer of Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan is out now and seems like it has blockbuster written all over it. Simmba is the Hindi remake of Telugu hit film Temper which featured Jr NTR in the lead role. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba clearly is not a literal remake of Temper but an adaptation of the core premise of the original. Rohit Shetty seems to have injected his own style into Simmba and it clearly is visible in the trailer. There are many changes that have been done in Simmba from Temper which not everyone would be aware of. We take a look at those five elements which have been changed in Simmba from the original.

The Singam Perspective:

Simmba seems to be taking off from where Ajay Devgan-starrer Singam left and the story builds from there. This perspective of Singam being infused into Simmba is wise and gives a whole new perspective to the Temper framework. The original, Temper, brings the lead character, Daya, right away into the play and he gets into the business with a no-nonsense attitude.

Ranveer Singh's look:

Ranveer sports a handlebar moustache in Simmba as opposed to Jr NTR s rugged look in Temper. Ranveer is seen sporting a clean shaven with moustache look, like any Indian cop, while Jr NTR was seen sporting an unorganised look which gave a perspective to his career.

Sara Ali Khan:

In the original, the lead actress Kajal Aggarwal plays a social worker who protects animals and breeds few in her house too. But in Simmba, Sara Ali Khan doesn t seem to be playing such character going by the trailer. The angle of a social worker was used a link to spill some humour in Telugu worked very well and was loved by fans of Jr NTR. And it will be interesting to see how Rohit Shetty has etched Sara Ali Khan s character.

The victim:

In the original, a girl is kidnapped and raped multiple times by four brothers who would eventually be turned in by Jr NTR himself. The narrative of how Jr NTR gets to know about that and changes him forms the main crux of the story. However, in the trailer of Simmba, Ranveer Singh is seen calling a girl his younger sister and that probably could form the reason for his change.
