We are pretty sure the headline must have left you zapped. We can understand this reaction because Rajinikanth has been around in the industry for many years. So it is only obvious to assume the dubbed Hindi versions of his regional films must have made that kind of money. But the fact of the matter is it is 2.0 which has given him the biggest Hindi film hit ever. The film has earned Rs 97.25 crore in four days. This could be his fastest run to Rs 100 crore as well which will be achieved today. That's a tremendous achievement! His last big hit was Kabali if you talk about dubbed Hindi version.

Rajinikanth has a limited fan following in the central and northern markets. Enthiran (Robot), Lingaa, Kabali and Kaala were big earners in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, but the Hindi versions of these film didn't really make much noise at the box office. Thus, 2.0 will be a big addition to Rajinikanth's hefty filmography. In fact, Trade feels it is capable of earning even Rs 200 crore in its entire lifetime!
