A Sabyasachi lehenga, bride and groom taking an elephant ride: Here's what happened at Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas' Indian wedding 

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a Christian wedding On December 1 and the next day, they had a gala Indian wedding complete with haldi, chooda and jaimala ceremony. Now we got to know what all happened yesterday at Umaid Bhawan when the couple got married again as per Hindu traditions. Bombay Times revealed how Priyanka Chopra wore a Sabyasachi lehenga who even helped her with the fittings. Here's all you need to know about the wedding.

#A source revealed to the daily, "The day dawned with a breakfast programme from 7 am to 11 am at Rizala the restaurant inside Umaid Bhawan. Post that, it was time for the traditional haldi-chooda ceremony, which was slated to take place at 12.30 pm, at the Mardana Hall at the venue. The theme was 'pink, orange and purple' for guests and the decor was beautiful. - with traditional gendaphool (marigolds) all around. There was a lavish spread for lunch at the Rathod Hall." At 5:30 pm, they had the safa ceremony which is a ritual to make the groom wear a turban which generally has a brooch attached to it.

#The source further informed, "Priyanka wore a Sabyasachi ensemble and she looked stunning. Designer Sabyasachi was also seen helping her with her ensemble before the function, so it was assumed that she wore his creation."

#The source went on to narrate how Nick arrived in a Ghodi as is the tradition. He later joined his bride Priyanka on an elephant ride around the palace. At around 8:30 pm, the exchanged jaimalas which was followed by a dinner. The after-party apparently happened in the midnight.
