Venkatesh Daggubati celebrates his birthday today and fans of the actor are already celebrating in the best way possible. However, Venkatesh is one such celebrity who chooses to stay away from the limelight and celebrates the day in the simplest way. Being someone who prefers being alone, leading a simple life and reading philosophical material among other things, it is heartening to see such a grounded person despite having been in films for more than three decades. Spirituality

Venkatesh Daggubati is a very spiritual person and believes in the philosophy of Ramana Maharshi. The actor is often spotted at the institutions of the saint, giving lectures on life and philosophy.

Venkatesh-Naga Chaitanya

Venkatesh Daggubati is the maternal uncle of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya! Chay's father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, was married to Venkatesh's sister Lakshmi and the two are separated now. Chaitanya is Nagarjuna's son from his first marriage to Lakshmi, and that's how he is the nephew of Venkatesh.

Hindi Remakes

Not many are aware that Venkatesh has acted in a handful of Bollywood movies as well. He acted alongside Karishma Kapoor in Anari which is the remake of his own Telugu film Chanti which was a super hit. Venky has also acted in another Hindi film Taqdeerwala which is, again, a remake of Telugu film Yamaleela starring Ali.

Cricket Enthusiast

If you happen to spot Venkatesh at any of the IPL matches, there's no need to be surprised. Just like Salman Khan in Bollywood, Venkatesh is an avid fan of cricket and his social networking pages are proof of it. Venky is also the captain of the team Telugu Warriors in Celebrity Cricket league.

Education

Venkatesh, in the '80s, was the first actor to have attained Masters education in the US and turn to acting for a career. The actor holds an MBA degree from Monterey Institute of International Studies in the US. Other than Venky, the only other actor to have such high level of education is Akkineni Nagarjuna.
