Bepannaah, Naagin 3, Kullfi Kumar Bajewala - which TV show launched in 2018 impressed you the most?

The year 2018 saw a number of supernatural shows like Naagin 3, Qayamat Ki Raat, Nazar, Manmohini, etc. Clearly, the channels are cashing in on the flavour of the season. It was also a time when channels brought forth some radically different shows like Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. Production values have seen a definite rise and performances are also getting better even from rank newcomers. Do let us know which was the show of the year according to you...here are our selected choices...

Bepannaah

Undoubtedly, one of the most loved TV shows on the year, it started off on an intriguing note. The story of two people betrayed in love caught the attention of the young audience. People loved Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda's chemistry as Aditya and Zoya. It was one of the purest romances of recent times and had a Mills and Boons vibe. The untimely closure of the show led fans to start an online campaign #DontEndBepannaah.

Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka

Though the show faced immense flak, it was surely one of the boldest shows of the year. The theme of extra marital relationship attracted a mature audience and the digital one. Drashti Dhami was subjected to extreme online bullying for playing the role of the other woman. Even male lead Shakti Arora was not spared. There was a demand to take it off air but the show is surviving and thriving too.

Ishq Subhan Allah

Shows on minority communities are far and few. Ishq Subhan Allah grabbed eyeballs from the first episode and sustained interest due to some good writing and performances. It is one of the few shows that is loved by both young and old. People cannot get enough of Adnan Khan and Eisha Singh's chemistry.

Naagin 3

While the second season was a bore, this one is as exciting as the first one. Naagin 3 combines the elements of folklore and thrill to good effect. Pearl V Puri and Surbhi Jyoti make for a helluva good-looking couple. Anita Hassanandani adds that extra tadka in the proceedings and Rajat Tokas is as solid as always.

Radha Krishna

An outright winner, it is the best mytho of the year. People adore Sumedh and Mallika as a couple. The writing is relatable to young people as well.

Kullfi Kumar Baajewala

Emotional stories tend to go haywire on TV but Kullfi Kumar Bajewala is an exception. The tale of a daughter wanting to reunite with her dad melts your hearts. Mohit Malik and Aakriti Sharma are doing a fab job.
