Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest running shows of television. What started as the story of Akshara (Hina Khan) and Naitik (Rohan Mehra) slowly turned to the story of Karthik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi). The show is all set to experience some heavy drama in the upcoming episodes. While things are worsening with Naira's pregnancy complications, post the Diwali party, Gayu will reenter the lives of KaiRa. Initially, it was touted that Kanchi Singh will re-enter the show but we reported that Deblina Chatterjee will be the new Gayu. And now, we have the new look of Gayu.
The actress, who has been part of shows like Balika Vadhu, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Sasural Simar Ka, will come to separate Naitik and Kaira. She will be seen flaunting Indo-western dresses. Her entry will be in a yellow sleeveless long kurti paired with yellow pants. Her hair will be left loose and to bring a traditional touch she will flaunt jhumkas. Talking about her stint, Chatterjee revealed to us exclusively that her character won't be an out-and-out vamp. "It's a grey character and not negative. I wanted to explore new things. So this was something different," she says, adding, "People are very warm on the sets and even Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan are very nice." Her role will be a cameo but the impact will be hard-hitting.
