Sunil Grover, who is currently busy with his upcoming flick Bharat, is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with Kanpur Waale Khuranas. The comedian-actor has been sharing pictures and videos from the sets and we can't wait to see this quirky new comedy show. And while the wait is soon going to end, to keep the audience at the edge of their seats, the makers decided to share a glimpse of the show.
Yes the promo of the show is finally out and while comedy shows are known for their silly jokes, the makers have planned to make the show more contemporary by discussing current topics and building a storyline around those to crack jokes. The promo too suggests so. Kunal, who plays the sala is seen discussing Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's big fat wedding which is expected to be the costliest wedding so far. While the discussion is on, Sunil takes a dig at married men and says that marriage is indeed an expensive affair.

The show will also feature a series of celebrities and achievers of 2018 as guests. Ali Asgar, Upasna Singh, Sugandha Mishra and Adaa Khan will be seen in the show as well along with Surbhi Chandna who is also a part of the cast. Earlier, sharing about the show with PTI, Sunil had said, "I am happy to be back on the small screen with a fresh concept. This character is unlike any I've played before and I am very excited to embark on this journey of entertaining my viewers. The show is sure to charm everyone alike with a theme that resonates with the viewers and keeps them hooked onto their television screens at night."
