Guess how much Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are spending for their stay and pre-wedding rituals in Jodhpur - details inside

Priyanka Chopra is the latest B-town beauty who is all set to be a bride and marry fiance Nick Jonas. The couple, which is fondly called as Nickyanka by their fans will tie the knot on December 2 at Umaid Bhawan Palace as per Hindu tradition followed by a Christian wedding on December 3. Reportedly, the actress will wear Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her traditional wedding and Ralph Lauren for her christian wedding and we cannot keep calm! And with Nick J (so tempted to add 'iju' to that) in town with Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner in the town it's really about counting hours. (Also Read: Exclusive! However, the mehendi and the sangeet ceremonies will take place at the Mehrangarh Fort starting from November 29, reports DNA. An insider told the publication, "The couple has booked the fort from November 29 to December 1. It will be closed for tourists on these three days." While we are still at the pre-wedding rituals, a management personnel at the Mehrangarh Fort further broke down the economics and added, "A minimum of 40 rooms need to be booked at the Umaid Bhawan Palace for the ceremony to happen at the Mehrangarh Fort. There will be an additional cost of Rs 10 lakh for the set-up, which also includes lighting and stage if required as well as other miscellaneous things. Along with that, the cost of catering will be Rs 18,000 per person. As per the officer, the three-day cost of setting up everything at the fort will be approximately Rs 30 lakh and the catering for them over three ceremonies will cost around Rs 43 lakh. So, the total expenditure for the pre-wedding functions is estimated to be around Rs 73 lakh. Think that's a lot? We haven't even told you about the stay yet!

That's right. Rs 73 lakh will be an additional cost to the price tag of the entire stay at the Taj Umaid Bhawan palace for the stretch of 5 days from November 29 to December 3. Reportedly, when DNA called up to inquire about a reservation around the same date, the person in charge for reservations said, "None of the rooms are available on these dates. We have rooms till November 28 and again starting from December 4. We are completely booked for the five days in between." Just to give you a lay-down; the property has 64 luxurious rooms and suites 22 palace rooms and 42 suites that are segregated into four types, i.e., 24 historical suites, 10 royal suites, six grand royal suites and two presidential suites. And the prices per night for each room (exclusive of taxes) are Rs 47,300 for palace rooms, Rs 65,300 for historical suites, Rs 1.45 lakh for royal suites, Rs 2.30 lakh for grand royal suites and Rs 5.04 lakh for presidential suites. So, if you do the math, the total cost of booking the entire hotel for one night sums up to a whopping Rs 64.40 lakh per night approximately. And since the hotel has been booked for a total of five days just the stay is reportedly a staggering Rs 3.2 crore. SIGH.

Yes, this means that PeeCee and Nick will shell around Rs 3.93 crore for the total cost of venue and pre-wedding rituals. You heard that right. Oh, did we tell you that Priyanka, Nick and their immediate family members will reach the venue in a private chopper? Now, that's some penny for thoughts!
