Today, the first episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi Jigar Pe Trigger got aired and the expectations are quite high as it is the 9th season of KKK series and the host is none other the blockbuster director Rohit Shetty. The Indian version of Fear Factor, which is happening in the beautiful country of Argentina has some popular names as the contestants like Aditya Narayan, Bharti, Punit Pathak, Avika Gor, Sreesanth, Vikas Gupta and many more. What's hot...
Like all the previous seasons, the mind-boggling stunts are the USP and highlight of Jigar Pe Trigger. Right from spiders, frogs, scorpions being part of the stunt to jumping from the tower and getting dragged from cars, the action-packed stunts was turned out to be an engaging affair but that's it.
What's not...
While the show is all about performing daredevil stunts, the prank section in between the shots came out to be an unnecessary one. Rohit Shetty tried to bring in the Bollywood touch in the show by introducing the stunts through signature dance steps but honestly, it didn't impress us. Bharti tried to make it a lighter affair through her comical punches and it didn't turn out to be a positive thing for the show. Whenever we thought that the episode is gaining momentum, the pranks and flat comical punches became the spoilers for us.
Verdict
The expectations were sky-high from the premiere episode as the big names from the entertainment industry were associated with the show but unfortunately, it turned out to be a cliched Bollywood affair.
