Their love story began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and with every movie they starred together, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh s love just got stronger and deeper. Every movie they have done together is special for their fans. Be it Bajirao Mastani or Padmaavat, each movie has just been a stepping stone towards their wedding which took place last November. Now that the couple is married, everyone is eager to see more of the two on the big screen.
However, fans will be disappointed to learn that it will be long before we get to see DeepVeer together in a movie. Why? That s because they haven t sign a movie together yet. In an interview to DNA, the actor revealed that the duo doesn t have a film together this year.
"My wife and I will not have a film together this year. I m hoping that filmmakers will approach the two of us with a script that we like and can take it forward. I m looking forward to sharing screen space with her, he said.
He went on to say that the chemistry between him and his wife is extra special and he s aching to act with Deepika again . Dear filmmakers, please make it happen! Meanwhile, Ranveer is looking forward to Chapak, Deepika s next project where she is playing an acid victim.
"When she told me that she had liked the script and would be acting as well as co-producing it, I said, Hallelujah! She has finally liked something," said Ranveer.
Speaking about her acting skills, Ranveer added, "There s an emotional depth to her that hasn t been explored. There is a lot of enrichment that one receives from a generous co-actor like her. I know that whenever this film with the two of us happens, it is going to shine and believe me, I m excited about it.
While he s all praises for Deepika, the actress has also been showering him with love and support. The actress was recently seen praising Simmba and left adorable comments on Ranveer s Gully Boy teaser post on Instagram.
