Box Office Report: Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh's Simmba crosses the Rs 350-crore mark worldwide

Simmba, the last film to be released in 2018, had a great time at the box office this year too since there were no releases at the beginning. With no other film to watch, Ranveer Singh's cop-drama became an obvious choice. The fact that it is a rousing entertainer has also made people watch it again and again. But finally, with the first releases of 2019 hitting the theatres, Simmba had started to slow down. However, it still managed to post a really good number at the box office on its third Friday. It earned Rs 2.60 crore yesterday and took the toll to a glorious Rs 215.03 crore. But today's day had a different story. Rohit Shetty's mass entertainer has again left the others behind and reached the Rs. 350-crore mark worldwide, thus becoming his highest grossing film ever.

The current numbers are as follows, India net - Rs. 215.03 crore, India gross - Rs. 275.68 crore, overseas gross - Rs. 79.73 crore, all coming to a worldwide gross of Rs. 355.41 crore. And it's just been three weeks. Now, it is to be seen if Vicky Kaushal's Uri and Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna's The Accidental Prime Minister push Simmba off the theatres or if it keeps giving them a tough fight in the coming weeks.
