Zero Box Office Collection: Early estimates suggest Shah Rukh Khan-starrer to collect Rs 10 crores on day 4; enters the100 crore club worldwide

Shah Rukh Khan's magnum project Zero has been receiving mixed reviews from all ends. Not many have applauded the money while many slammed it for its tedious second half. The movie didn't open with great numbers. In fact, it had a sluggish start. It opened with Rs. 20.14 crores. The numbers dipped on the second day and movie collected Rs 18.22 crore. On Sunday the momentum of the movie was back on track, as it collected the similar amount of its first day. It collected Rs 20.71 crore, resulting three day total to a low Rs 59.07 crore nett. The gross amount of the movie has resulted to be 74 crores in India. Globally the movie has entered the Rs. 100 crore club. It has collected Rs 107 crores worldwide. Meanwhile, on Monday the movie is expected to collect Rs. 10 crores in the domestic market which won't be ringing the cash registers.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala put the numbers on his Twitter handle. Here's what he tweeted...

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero is about a vertically challenged man Bauua Singh who falls in love with a scientist which leads to him going on a mission to Mars. BollywoodLife in its review for Zero stated, "Zero is way too long and it tests your patience early on. The filmmaker and his cast get over indulgent and carried away by the premise. One song less and maybe 20 mins trimmed down, Zero could have been a better experience. There are several moments that defy logic and succumb to the pressures of the superstar curse. Even Anushka's Aafia, who seems to be the most sensible character in the film, is made to do something like jet-setting on full throttle to see Bauua in her wedding sari sitting on her wheelchair. Also, there is a bit of a lack of emotional connect with Bauua."
